Secretariat

The Secretariat of the Earth League is distributed among the Global Futures Laboratory at Arizona State University in the United States (ASU), the Climate Service Center Germany (GERICS) at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon, and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany (PIK).

Close coordination within the Secretariat and among fellows ensures a truly integrated management of the Earth League’s concerns, ideas and endeavours.

Paula joins the Earth League after several years of working for the United Nations in Latin America. She has published works with ECLAC and UNIDO. Paula’s research interests focus on the social dimensions of climate change and the just transition.

Henry joins the Earth League after decades of experience in leading state-of-the-art ocean-climate research from the South Pacific to the Caribbean. He has now turned his focus to working at the science-policy interface and science communication.
