The Earth League had a strong presence at COP30 through events centered on the 10 New Insights in Climate Science initiative. Members of the Earth League team were on-site in Belém for the negotiations and convened several high-profile events, including:
- UNFCCC Press Conference: Presentation of the 10 New Insights in Climate Science 2025 report, joined by UNFCCC Director Cecilia Kinuthia-Njenga.
- 10 New Insights Session at the Planetary Science Pavilion: Featuring Johan Rockström, Wendy Broadgate, Regina Rodrigues, and Deliang Chen.
- Deep Dive Session – Safeguarding Climate Action: Reforming and Strengthening Carbon Markets and Accelerating CO₂ Removal: With expert contributions from Cara Maesano (independent CDR expert), Chris Sherwood (Negative Emissions Platform), and Romeo Bertolini (NDC Partnership), Anton Tsvetov (The Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market), Injy Johnstone (University of Oxford), Sassan Saatchi (Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology)
